"You can't handle the truth!"

Friday, July 04, 2014

Perhaps that is why I have problems with logging. I can't handle the truth, ignorance is bliss?
Week 2 has been abysmal as far as logging food goes. The exercise and other stuff I'm okay with.
Why am I so resistant, basically I'm the only one who sees my log. It is time to suck it up and face the truth.

Needed to weigh in a day early because of the holiday. Another pound is gone. Woo Hoo!!! I was thrilled. Yes it is "only" a pound, but it is a pound in the right direction and I will take that.

My am blood glucose numbers are still rising! Argh!!! Monday I will call the doctor unless things turn around before then.

I'll be a quiet 4th here. It'll be easy to log my food right?! After years of hosting combo 4th and birthday celebration picnics, I guess I have retired. My precious first born turns 30 today and I am not able to be with him and his family today. The outer bands of the hurricane and the cold front are doing battle in state today.

Wishing you all a Happy and safe 4th.

Maybe logging would hasten the weight loss? But if you aren't going to do it for the rest of your life, you probably shouldn't do it now. Obviously you are making better choices because you are losing! Hope the #s straighten out soon. I know that's worrisome.

A pound is great! Any loss no matter how small is better than a gain. keep up the good work!
