Last night I ran a 4.8km race and got even faster! Not by much which doesn't matter because every second counts. And - even better - MUCH MUCH MUCH better is that my husband did the 4.8km with his inlines and BOTH kids were there.
See that, people?!? My kids are learning what a healthy lifestyle looks like, smells like, feels like. I'm getting healthy and strong and my kiddos are getting two great role models.
When I realized that yesterday - that this is beyond just me having fun with my kids - that this is also about showing them through how we life, how THEY can live. So I updated my goal board.
Another race. And I'm doing it right.
And, yeah, I got down to 169.0. Which is great. Just not as great as role modeling for the kiddos.
