Well, I did what the trainer said I needed to do, and increased my calorie intake. He informed me I wasn't eating nearly enough calories each day. So..... even though I was hesitant about it, I increased my calories. I figured he was the professional trainer with an abundance of knowledge just waiting share with me. He is the one who went to college and studied this information. However, I found after following his plan for about 2 weeks, I have gained about 4 pounds. What?!?! Does my body have to make an adjustment going from
"starvation mode" where I wasn't eating enough calories, to this new state of getting enough daily calories? Does it have to learn how to use them? I'm not sure. I plan to keep following the plan until I can talk with the trainer. What do you all think?? Any info or advice would be appreciated. Thanks! I am not giving up or quitting. Just need to know my next step.
