The Start to my Wedding Day!

Ok, I already have my dress which is a little small right now, but a year ago it would have fit just fine. I want to get fit and get the dress to the point where I have to get it smaller

My biggest problem right now is alcohol. I would my no means say I have a problem, but I enjoy 1-2 glasses of wine a night or a beer with dinner when I go out. I am also on a vball team where every game we play we win a pitcher of beer.

So what I am going to do is not stop drinking, but cut back a lot. I am not going to bring alcohol into the house anymore and when I play vball I will limit myself to 1 beer a night.

I am hoping that starting with these small changes I will be able to see a big difference.

I still have a year and 3 months until my wedding, but I want to reach my goal weight of 135 by march of next year. It took over a year of slacking to put this weight on and I am hoping a little less than a year of working hard, I can be at my goal!

I will also try and post onto my blog every single day, my hope is that it will keep me honest and on track. I will not lie if I cheat, but I will add everything on here so that I realize what I am putting into my body

    Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. I have found that changing things up is the way to start weight loss. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. When i was drinking, I would drink a glass of water between each drink. This made me fuller and cut my alcohol consumption in half, or more, because I don't like water so it would take longer to drink the water. There are more tricks like this that you can do.     How exciting!!! You can totally do this! I also enjoy my glasses of wine/a beer here or there. But, I do have to limit myself otherwise I REALLY over enjoy it in the evenings.

That v-ball team sounds like so much fun! You have a pretty good plan on cutting back. I do like wine myself and I did have a couple glasses a night, but now I have one about once a month.

Blogging has helped me and it helps to get your thoughts out to others that are going through the same thing. Very motivating.
