Bumps in the Road

When Helena was released from the hospital on Sunday, her biiruben count was 9. She had a check-up yesterday and it had gone up to 16. Not TOO major, but back to the hospital she went to go under the lights. Things have come a long way. When my Sarah had jaundice, gauze was taped on her eyes. Helena had what looked like to be a sleeping mask - so she was Sleeping Beauty for 24 hours. She's back home now, sleeping away. Now to get Momma caught up a little on her sleep!
Something else that has improved greatly is the newborn picture taking. It is no longer the take the picture and continue down the line. This person spent quite a bit of time with Helena, putting her in a basket, in different positions, in different poses. It was uploaded to the website by Sunday night and the poses were set to music. But, boy, is the company proud of it's work!
Grandma Patty is still being the gopher - tending to my mom, my babies, and my grandbaby. Nothing I can't handle, though - doing it with love.
