ToF Week 2 Begins

I'm not ready!!!!
Yesterday I ended up with issues... lots of issues! First my am BG reading was up almost 50 points. (today it has dropped back down(yes)). My middle son and I went to the Farmer's Market. Scored some strawberries, radishes, native corn, and decadent cupcakes for my hubby's birthday. He wanted their signature cupcake "Irish Car Bomb."
It is a big market and I spent about an hour out in the midday heat, sweat was running down my back. When I got home my youngest, said my face was sunburned, alas it was not. I was flushed from being overheated. It took a good 4 hours for me to feel better.
By that time the pool had closed. :(
Didn't plan my menu for the week. :(
Frustrating! But Dr. Judith Beck taught me to say: "Oh Well" and move forward.

Today is a new day and a new ToF week.
I shall plan my menu for the week.
Celebrate hubby's birthday mindfully.
Meditate.
Go to the workout at the pool.
Do classical stretch.

    It is impossible to be "perfect" unless you live in a vacuum! I like the 80/20 philosophy, or the 90/10 -- if we are good the great majority of the time, everything else will work out. Don't sabotage yourself by trying to be perfect! Just move on. Like you say -- "oh well"...
