Summer 5% Challenge - Week 1/8 Up, up and away!

Dang, so not the start I wanted but hey sometimes you miss before you get it. And who the heck knew that Boston Mahket made such a good apple pie?!? Also, around Thursday I stopped drinking water because earlier in the week I drank what I thought was a lot. And as weird as that sounds reducing water intake can actually drive the body to hold water not knowing where or when the next glass may be coming.

Looking forward to get to the Grand Canyon virtually and take a nice hike. Did you know at the southern rim of the Canyon it's 10 miles down! Now that's a hike. Can't you just hear all the colorful language as everyone makes their way back up. Those guides must have stories to tell :)

    I may have to wear socks or nylons when I weigh in at the doctor's office, but I don't like to acknowledge their extra weight when I weigh at home.

    My daughter has done it and though I would have been game to try she says between my replaced knees and other injuries I wouldn't make it. That's okay I will fly over instead !

    Our kids have done that hike...and often tell about how they would never do it again!! I think I'd ride the donkeys down, though! Good luck to you...yep...drinking that water does help so many things. Good luck this week! Jeannie
