Active Apples week 4 blog! How I deal with the Heat!

When it is hot outside, I have to be very careful since I have asmtha. Especially since I had my lung surgery. I have several things I can do for exercise in the house. I have a stationary bike that I use. I usually do 20 minutes on the bike in the morning.

I also love to do zumba every chance I get. I am not at this time going to my classes at church. I am not up to doing 1 hour of zumba like I used to. So work at it at home 10 minutes at a time.

Housework is a good ezercise like today, I need to do laundry, dust, clean the bathroom, and kitchen.

    Debbie, I think you are being very wise to limit how much exercise you do since you have asthma and had the lung surgery. The exercise bike and housework are great, and 10 minute spurts are very beneficial!

    Debbie, you are doing great! It's a wise idea to take your time and slowly work your way back to what you use to do. You got that right ... housework is good exercise! Thanks for sharing!

    I think you are doing great Debbie! I think it's wise of you to work on doing Zumba for 10 minutes at a time at home until you are able to do the 1 hour of zumba. Yes, housework is good exercise as well. Thanks for sharing! emoticon emoticon
