Just a little explanation to my Spark friends!

This may not seem to be anything needing an explanation, but to those of you who follow me on their friend feed, I'm sure you noticed 4 entries on this past Monday for a 9 minute walk. It was actually 4 separate 9 minute walks! No double clicking this time! hehe My DGD is going to an arts and crafts class a street over from my house, so I walked her up then I walked home, then I walked up to retrieve her, then we walked to my house! It was a slow walk, so 9 minutes one way, 4 times for me!! Yay! So, that's all that was, but I thought y'all should have all the d'ruthers!! hehe
Yesterday I got over to the gym and walked an hour while watching Bones. (one of my fav. shows) Need to do it again, but I'm wiped out! Maybe I'll do half and hour then back to an hour tomorrow.

    We love 'Bones' too. The main guy character...can't think of his blasted name right now was on one of our Josh's and DH's favorite programs 'Angel' that they watched together like clockwork. Even after we lost Josh DH continued to watch that program sometimes with tears in his was heartbreaking. emoticon So we were very happy to see this actor resurface in such another great sitcom.

I do pretty good on the treadmill when I'm engrossed in a distraction. DH likes to walk outdoors with his earphones on...he listens to Josh's favorite music and says he talks to Josh through his music.

Isn't it sad that still...8 long years later...we are still grieving. It just never seems to completely go away.

I'm horrified for the families that lost their loved ones on that Malaysian air flight that got shot's just a crazy and insane world we seem to be living in. Who would ever think they would be shot down by a MISSLE on an airplane flight.

That's why we are DRIVING on our vacation...not that that is a whole lot safer these days...I'll still take my chances.

    Well as SP says it is great to get exercise in even if it is 10 min (or 9min emoticon ) at a time!

    Next time you know you're going to that same place, march in place or do house walking for a minute either before you go or when you get back, then you'll have your 10 minutes in = 40 minutes, for which you will receive 8 spark points! emoticon

    Maybe you should have walked a little slower, according to SP, aerobic activity should be at least 10 minutes to rev up your system.

    Thanks for explaining, but there was no panic! You do as much walking as you can do comfortably and safely. If an hour is too much in one shot, go ahead and shorten the time. If you are better doing 2 or 3 shorter bursts of activity a day, do that. Each of us does best when we work with what works for us and our abilities.
