Getting back on track... again ugh!

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

soooooaaa, here I am again, with another blog about getting back on track after falling off the horse emoticon
Have not been great on my healthy choices lately, actually its been pretty bad. I know health isnt an all or nothing mentality, but man i've been doing bad on it. Once again, time to get back on track and make better choices. I guess starting with water is the best way to start start. For some reason even if I eat healthy or drink lots of water gets me full, but I equate that to 'oh i'm eating alot and now i'm super full', instead of, 'oh i'm eating healthy and I'm full by putting good things in my body'. I didnt feel that way months ago when I was on a roll with this, maybe its just a matter of getting back on my feet and getting ball rolling... again!

Thanks for the encouragement! You are so right, our bodies do get used to the good food we put into it, and when we go back to eating unhealthy it freaks out lol. Unfortuntely it can also quickly get used to eating bad foods if you do it consistently, thats kinda where I am, but I did really well yesterday! Day 1 I guess? It feels good!

Never give up, Never surrender!! Love it, my friend has that tattooed on her arm emoticon

Well done for recognising that you need to change your habits and mindset. That's half the battle.
As long as you keep getting up after falling off the healthy-eating-horse and getting right back on it, you'll win in the end.

I have been right back on that horse for nearly 5 weeks now. I had a lapse on Monday when I had shop bought chocolate cake. Boy did I pay for that yesterday!! My body did not appreciate it. On the upside, I left a book in the bathroom and got through reading a lot of it while I was in there emoticon That will teach me. It's amazing how quickly your body adjusts to just having good things put into it and then how badly it reacts to 'junk'.

Never give up, never surrender.

Thank you Jarol7, you are right, giving up is far worse than trying again.
Givemefries, I hear ya on that! Once I get the ball rolling I'm ok for a while, but its the actually starting to get the ball rolling part that takes me forever. I have alot of frozen foods in my freezer from a party I had a couple weeks ago i'm trying to work through before I go grocery shopping for some real food. uuggghhhh lol!

I'm trying to get back on track, too. It's super tough when you have absolutely no motivation.

Starting over is good ... compared to giving up. See my blog.
