21 DSD week 7

Finally feeling like a lifestyle change has happened:) Zero sugar cravings, zero stress eating. Killing the workouts and finding that I am not even thinking about the scale any more. Everything feels very balanced.
It's also very encouraging to see the week 7 after this update:) Almost two months and really only one "bad" week which was early on in this challenge.
Getting the pups out and getting my house back in order this week:) I love an organized house, everything just feels better when things are in their place and there's no visible dog hair:)
Looks like these updates are going to come to a close. If you are struggling with eating too much sugar or processed foods, check out the 21 Day Sugar Detox. It is an easy plan to follow and really something you can stick with long after the 21 days. I never thought I would be able to walk down the cookie isle in the grocery store without wanting something sweet. Those days are gone. Even when things that I used to enjoy way too much of are brought into the house (my hubby eats all kinds of things), I really don't want them. My hubby knows if I want something, I will eat it. I am much happier without the processed stuff.
Time now to focus on the summer goal list:)

*Jump rope was part of our workout today. 100 jumps after all the craziness we did in class, I was very skeptical they would happen. I was right. No way. I couldn't do one without the rope tripping me up. So I put it down. 400 jumps later...I was the last one finished. I honestly did not care. I was just happy to know that I was capable of doing the workout:)
*A very simple summer salad that is hubby approved:
1 pineapple
4 carrots
juice of 1 lemon
Put sliced pineapple in the food processor, place in bowl once shredded. Place carrots in food processor, and add to pineapple, juice the lemon and add to pineapple and carrots. Mix and enjoy! I first made this awhile ago for my dad's birthday and everyone loved it:) We had this with pulled pork and grilled chicken.
Off to get these pups out!

    What??? No dog hairs??? For how long???? You continue to do an amazing job - not sure I'm brave enough to go for zero sugar cravings....although Friday I wanted salty not sweet in spite of lots of sweet temptations. unusual for me. So glad, you're into summer recovery from the school year. Enjoy. You are on an amazing journey.
