This is my new second favourite hike. My favourite is still Needle Peak. I did this hike for the first time on Wednesday June 18, with 22 other hikers with the hiking club I belong to. I am in the middle with the dark blue jacket and white striped sleeve.
It is a 6.5 mile total (going and returning) trail through forest, beside streams, along Lindeman Lake, on to Greendrop Lake. Some of the trees were amazing, 7 foot diameters and bigger. Part of the trail went through boulder slides on the mountain bottom by the lake edges. Boulder scrambling is either loved or hated, I love it, thus this is one of my new favourite trails. It was 6 hours total, including the lunch stop, a glorious day!!
The pointy peaks are called the Gargoyles.
Our lunch destination, Greendrop Lake, after the rock trail, and through some forest trails
