I was elated at my loss during week one. Miles walked cannot tell the whole story. What does? A sum of all my activity, the water I drank, the food choices I made and the determination to keep going are what made me lose seven pounds. Dance! It's a love of mine. There isn't any mileage to dancing, no way to account for the work it does to my waistline, legs and arms. But I love it! Why not do something I love to help me get where I want to be? I walk, I do strength and flexabity also. We need the entire package. My loss next week won't be as dramatic. It never is. But I will walk, eat, drink and dance my way to fitness, and be thankful for the good time I'm having on this journey.
