i love reading member's blogs that are numbered. it's so movtivating to see a streak and how long it's been going, whatever it may be for. i decided to start one of my own. it's a summer streak, so it won't be too long, but who knows, maybe i'll start a longer one once summer wraps up. now that's a sad thought. why does summer ever have to end?!
this challenge will focus on things i want to accomplish and focus on this summer. summer is always tough for me. people always talk about how holiday's are difficult because there's so much food and they gain weight. my problem is summer. so i'd like to make it through this summer without gaining weight.
in order to do that here is what i need to work on:
*track everything i eat
*limit myself to one alcoholic beverage a day
*get into a workout routine
There may be more items to add, but that's my focus right now.
I was trying to do the drinking thing only on the weekends, but i still drink too much. I know i won't drink daily, so i figure when i do i need to focus on one drink. that way i'm not depriving myself, but i'm also not consuming hundreds of calories. i'll just need to plan real well. tomorrow will be my first test.
i mentioned in a blog or two ago that i have developed a bad relationship with soda. it has become my crutch. not good. i'm currently on day two of a no soda streak. lets see how long i can make that last.
i am still struggling with working out every morning. i can do this! i know i can! just need to start.
i'm pretty good at tracking. until i mess up. that defeats the purpose. i need to track every bite, good or bad.
ok, lets see how this goes! i won't be updating every day, but i'll try for most days.
