I am 16.5 pounds away from my goal, and I have less than 2 months to lose this weight. However, I am going to get as close as I possibly can. My exercise has been slacking lately, but some news I received today should change that. My husband and I have been selected to teach abroad! We will have our contract information on July 1st. Our recruiter is 99.99% sure that we will be going to Korea in August.
My husband and I have begun the process of sorting and packing up our items. It is starting to really sink in for both of us. Until that plane touches down in South Korea it won't be real enough though. I feel as though I can breath a little easier and at the same time not. I have to get as close to my goal weight as I can, and not reaching my goal could complicate things. I know I can do this; I have come so far in the last 4 months. More than half way.
7 more weeks approximately. That's it. Less than 50 days. Okay, girl, go get it and don't stop for one second!
P.S. My latest tactic for losing weight-a contract made between my husband and me. No fast food, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, or ice cream (fiber brownies and fiber cookies are the exception). Spark every day. Exercise in some form every day. If I break the contract, I have to run 1/2 mile.
