What a quick week! Feel like I was just here posting on… Monday?!
Monday and Tuesday my exercise was PT and moving more stuff to the new house after work. I did a little too much heavy lifting on Tuesday and needed a break on Wednesday (my PT gave me the whatnot about my back!) I’ve pretty much been eating salads for lunch and cheese and crackers for dinner. This approach isn’t going well, I can’t wait to go grocery shopping and have REAL meals and snacks again. Our fridge is looking sad with no veggies or real food in it! The weather has been wacky this week as well and last night it all cleared up and BF and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. I hopped on the scale and there has been zero change, up or down, which I suppose is a good thing seeing how thrown off my habits have been these past two weeks.
That being said, I still nailed it on my steps goals this week:
Except for that “rest day” on Wednesday where I just snuck under the goal line. Looking at that now really bothers me! Plus those steps were combined with a lot of lifting, hope that helps!
This weekend we are trying to wrap up some final stuff at the old house and do some organizing in the new one. We’re trying to get enough of the house together to have some folks over for a cookout and watch the USA World Cup game on Sunday. We’re going to go on a good grocery shop and try to stock up – I could really go for some fresh spinach, peppers, onions, you name it. I swear I have really changed, craving veggies?! I also saw someone with a fresh peach at work and I’m salivating for some fresh peaches too!
As I came into work this morning, someone said “Gosh you look so tiny!” I disagree with the being “tiny” part but I am glad someone noticed a change. I’m hovering around the 15 lbs. down mark and I was wondering if it had made any difference. Sometimes a little validation goes a long way!
