Garden

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Thanks, friends, for all your well wishes! I felt lots better today! emoticon

This picture and the next are pictures of our garden in 2012. It was a good year, and hubby had plenty of time to keep it weeded! Some years it is not quite so perfect, but the crops are always good!

In this pic, the pickles are already done, and tilled under, but the melons were coming into it! They were sweet and delicious! Can't wait for this years crop. The corn in the back is actually the crop from the farmer who farms the field behind us.

We didn't plant any corn that year, but we did have one come up voluntarily!

Our garden this year is running a bit behind, but it is doing well! The critters are staying out, thanks to a product known as Liquid Fence, and the rain comes at just the right time. I will post some pics when you can identify the plants!

Spark on!

Pesticide free I hope. I'm not clear on what is in the product you used to keep the critters out.
