Getting some good

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Well, Iím finally getting some good to go with all the bad.

Gram is at home. One week after almost dying of a heart attack, she is home and doing well. ďGetting back to lifeĒ is the only Spark appropriate quote. My gram could make a sailor blush.

I got a very nice email from Fitbit today. I knew they no longer supported the Ultra. I honestly didnít expect anything except maybe an idea or two to save it. After exhausting a huge list to no avail, they offered me a One at half price. So I have a burgundy One on the way.

I feel really naked without a pedometer. Iíve been wearing one almost the entire time on Spark. It was my ďfirstĒ piece of fitness equipment. I gave my back up to the boy child about 6 months ago and we normally compare steps in the evening. (Working as a bagger in a grocery store, the kid racks up a TON of steps.) These few days without a tracked have really taught me how much it makes a difference in my exercise.

Iíve been in calorie the last two days. So far so good. Iím doing the stars on my calendar again. Next week is back to the gym.

I feel lost without mine too. They are usually very quick about sending things out so you should have your new one in a short time. I hope you like it as well as I like mine.

I'm glad you're getting a new FitBit. They've always been super helpful to me (and I'm difficult ha ha), and I think you'll be pleased with the FitBit One. I have the burgundy one too. I don't know about you, but when I'm not wearing my tracker and I'm exercising, it feels like what I'm doing doesn't really count.

Have a great day! emoticon

Yay! A new tracker! I am not taking mine with me on my trip. I will feel naked without it, but I don't want to lose it, so I am leaving it at home.

So good to hear all this good news. Rotten times really make us appreciate good times!

I forgotten twice to put my fitbit on since November and yes, I felt naked.
