Scales are going in right direction :)

Hi,
Time for another update emoticon
I have taken 3 days off work this week to help out at my church for VBS. I am amazed at how disrespectful some children are! I have been going on swimming trips with the older children (5&6 graders) and am shocked at how argumentative and disrespectful some of them are towards adults and sometimes people they don't even know. Trying to show love to these children anyhow.

I am still attending weight watchers and have been doing very well, I have lost 9.6 pounds since I began 7 weeks ago, I did not get to go this week as I am at home and the meetings are by my work (100 miles away). My friend that I joined with has not been very regular in attending, we were supposed to be supporting each other, but I know everyone at their own time, right? I have lots of people at work supporting me, which is a huge help. I seem to do better when I am away from home as I can have MY foods around and more control over meals and snacks :) I am saving my weekly points for when I am home and that seems to be working for me. I love the meeting that I attend as there are several life time members there and I find that to be so motivating. Plus I have a friend in California that got to her goal this weekend and she is encouraging me too.

I am trying it get to the gym when I can and workout with my trainer. As I am away so much, she is going to make me up a program to do while I am away, so I am excited about that.

On the job front for my daughter, she did not get the position because they needed her quicker than she could start as she needed to give the family she worked for 2 weeks notice. She has had quite a few interviews but so far nothing has happened. I think that she has a previous employer that has been sabotaging her applications. Very frustrating as we live in a small town. This employer was not a good employer - wages were late, checks bounced, she was critical of her employees and in the end, DD left which made the employer mad! She out stipulations on DD about what employment she could accept in our town for 2 years and one if the nannying agencies gave DD feedback and it sounded like it came straight from this ex employer. Then on Sundays, her current employer told her that they did not need her anymore, no notice given. So now she is looking for employment again :( she has some avenues she is pursuing, so ewe would covet any prayers. We know that God has something out there for her.

I totally feel the same about many children these days. The lack of respect is sad.

Sorry about your daughter not getting the job because she couldn't start soon enough. Will keep praying.
