some progress

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

i found out a few things i did not know the other day. so i am taking today to reflect on them and to get some more things done. my daughter managed to not get too wet the other day at her soccer game. the coach insisted they play, even though it looked like it could pour rain at any moment. the adults were not happy and started to leave with the kids. just after they all got to their cars, it started to pour rain. there was also thunder and lightning, of which my daughter is not a big fan of and neither am i. my good friend is helping me to figure out what i need to do next in order to get where i want to be in my life. he knows that i want my own place so much and is trying to help me find one that is affordable. he is a true friend. now the place where i am staying is also helping me to get the assistance i need so i can live on my own and to not have to worry about will i have to struggle to make ends meet. all of the birds are doing well and say hello, hello! have a wonderful day, everyone!

Tell the birds I said "hi" back, I am an avid bird watcher! Nothing beats having your own place! Best of wishes on finding one! And they shouldn't be playing in a field if there are storm clouds anyway with potential lightning strikes! YIKES! Shame on that coach!

I once wrote a poem (when I was a young girl) about my Dad (the coach of my brothers baseball team) making the boys play in a thunderstorm. I still love to write about things like that.

Stay strong!

YOU ROCK!!!

Sounds like a good friend who is wanting to help you. I'm glad that you got your daughter out of the nasty weather. I hate storms too.
