I fled temptation

I got plenty of exercise and ate right today. Though I admit I was so tempted this afternoon to have some peppermint patties that I'd bought, and forgot I bought, I even had them in my hand- chocolate melting onto it as I went to get some chromium picolonate (It helps your blood sugar not to be bothered as much if you didn't have it with sugar). I realized that I was frustrated and it was only a tv show making me frustrated. I didn't NEED that junk to eat. I turned around from the cabinet and went back to the other room, and put them back in the package, then went and washed my hands- didn't lick the chocolate. Yay :) I think I may offer the mints (the non handled ones) to my super skinny friend tomorrow night. The handled ones- I'll offer to my hubby or throw in the trash.
I sure do feel much healthier, even after two days of eating right.
We keep getting Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition interupted with the Emergency Alert System from the National Weather Service. We did get a thunderstorm, and it's still raining. We still have a chance for a severe thunderstorm until midnight. Hopefully we won't get the hail and damaging winds. I'd better post this before we may lose power.
