From Saturday night to Sunday morning I walked to raise money for Suicide Prevention. I was really nervous beforehand because I had never walked that far. I worried I wouldn't be able to walk the whole thing or I would lag behind most people. But when the time came I did really well!
I walked 18.34 miles in under 5 hours and felt really good at the end! All the hours of training were worth it. I feel really proud that I made my goal.
I met some wonderful people during the walk and heard so many stories reminding me how important a cause it is. I'm very grateful for the people who helped me raise the funds I needed to walk (I needed a minimum of 1k and raised over 1.7k!). And I'm grateful for the moral support and encouragement I received from my friends, family and SparkPeople as well.
What motivates you and how will you feel when you reach your next big goal?
