Finally am getting on a much better track. I am using the Spark Streak tracker to inspire and to encourage me to get with the program.
Drinking water is one of the things i just could not do. So my goal was just 4 glasses a day - so far 57 days! YEAH!! I put tally marks on the white board we have on the fridge each time i empty my glass and fill it again. And i have a son who encourages me along the way. And yesterday actually drank 7 glasses - felt like i was drowning but i am sure my body will adjust as i gradually increase.
Another thing i am tracking is minutes of exercise each day. My current goal is at least 15 minutes each day. I am counting the gardening and the housecleaning i am doing. Don't know if they really count, but for me it keeps me motivated to do more each day - just up out of the chair and moving. And am feeling much better - a bit stronger and my legs are not achy as much.
My weight has actually gone back up 3 - 4 pounds, but i am not focusing on that. And my son tells me that muscle actually weighs more than fat - so i am using that as my excuse for now.
And by blood pressure has dropped back down where it belongs. Have had a bit of added stress recently, but am telling it to just get lost. Don't need it or want it right now in my life.
Well, up out of this chair and off the computer for a while - and back to cleaning in my bedroom.
