21 DSD week 6

Yep I made it through the last day of school, Friday the 13th with a full moon. Surprisingly everything went very smoothly:) The kids had a lot of fun playing games, signing yearbooks, and just relaxing with their teachers and friends.
No sugar cravings for me, in fact it's been over a month since I have had any sugar except fruit. The fruits I have been eating are berries and green apples, low glycemic so they don't spike blood sugar and lead to crashes.

Time for a summer bucket list:
*Better my jump rope skills. It is very frustrating to me and I end up throwing the rope. At the gym whenever I see our workout involves jump rope, I don't use a jump rope and double the amount of jumps to make it fair. For example part of yesterday's workout was 200 jump ropes and I did 400. My time was also 20 seconds behind the first finisher:)
*Jump the higher box. My hubby and I made a plyo box last summer. Unfortunately with all the snow we had and not having it in proper storage, it has deteriorated. Time to build a new one!
*Climb the rope. Last summer I was one pull away from the top. I haven't even tried it this year yet. I feel stronger than last summer, so I am really hoping things go well when I try it:)
*Save more money. I say this every summer. Little by little :)
*Read-enough said about that:)
*Continue to make new recipes. My hubby is probably the most patient person I know. We have had grilled chicken and turkey burgers for two weeks. With our last few days of school, I couldn't find the ambition to do any menu planning. I just wanted to be done. Time to spice things up:)
Sounds like a decent list for now:)

    What a great idea to have a summer bucket list! I will have to start my own.
    I'm glad to hear you had such a fun last day - we did as well!
    I used to love to jump rope and somehow lost the umph and ability. I did it during spring break for the first time in many years and loved it!
    I hope you slept in a bit this morning and have something special planned for the first day of summer!

    throw your rope??? sorry I've got to laugh a little given how determined and focused you are. You ARE doing amazingly well. Glad .5 day went well and of course SUMMER. Enjoy.
