~ Day 10 & update ~

... so it's been a few days since my last blog and I have changed some things.

As you know I have been following the Chris Kresser's Personal Paleo Code reset (PPC). The purpose of this reset was to eliminate foods that might be considered inflammatory, such as caffeine & dairy for 30 days and then slowly reintroduce them back into my diet and watch for any signs of inflammation, i.e., indigestion, bloating, etc. I also gave up sugar, equal and Splenda; I now use stevia drops in my tea and I no longer drink coffee. I am not saying that I will never drink another cup, but I know that I will never, ever drink it daily. I am aiming for 2X's month, when my son & I go grocery shopping and have breakfast at Dunkin Donuts... I like that ritual with my son emoticon

... anyway, so far I have added the following foods back in:

- Kerry Gold (grass fed butter)
- Kerry Gold cheese
- new potatoes

I want to add sour cream and eventually Greek yogurt back in... slowly. But the main focus for my meals will be to eat:

- moderately high healthy fats (... olive oil, coconut oil, red palm oil, etc.)
- moderate protein
- loads of veggies
- moderate fruit
- small amounts of starch



My week may look something like this:

M: No carbs (as in no starchy carbs)
T: Low carb
W: Moderate carb
TH: No carbs
Fri: Low Carb
Sat: Higher carb
Sun: No carb
