Round 2 = another 15 days of at least 10 minutes of exercise per day
~ Day 1: 27 minute walk / 5 minutes stretching / 30 minutes spading, planting flowers
~ Day 2: 30 minutes strength training
~ Day 3: 33 minutes Zumba
~ Day 4: 20 minutes strength training / 5 minutes stretching / 30 minutes hoeing-mulching
~ Day 5: 10 minute walk on break at work / 20 minutes hoeing garden
~ Day 6: 24 minute walk
~ Day 7: Goal not met
~ Day 8: 10 minutes strength training
~ Day 9: 35 minutes strength training / 20 minutes spading, planting flowers
Someone said today maybe I should increase my goal to 20 minutes per day. I think not. Ten minutes a day in 15 day increments is a SMART goal for me right now.
If I make it 20 minutes, it will be too easy to talk myself out of it, saying I don't have time. You can take 10 minutes to do anything most days.
The scale said nice things to me today; no leaps and bounds but at least it's moving in the right direction again. My body wasn't quite sure what to do with all this exercise.
