A nice day at work, very, very busy.. the days are going by quickly this summer, not so much last winter.. hmmm.. savor the good times is the lesson here, I guess.
I am anxious to see how the record snowfall in our state, affected the huckleberry crop. Last year it was good, but could have used even more snow. We almost doubled the snow this year, but the bitter cold may have affected root systems up there..
We will still take our homemade contraption to a quickly pick our berries.. We are enjoying parfaits and cobblers from last year's picking at Crisp Point lighthouse grounds and the forest around it.
I did learn that it pays to double check every single word of every single document a long time ago. Dear Dad taught me that at the ripe old age of thirteen.
I was perusing mom's ten page booklet of forms to fill out prior to her July appointment,,, They highlighted that she should have labs drawn the week of June 9, after they told me that they only wanted labs drawn the week that she sees them.. I called their office and left voice mail yesterday: she was wrong, the date is supposed to be week of JULY 7! Wrong month, wrong day,,right year..
I am very glad that our founding fathers proofread their scrolls before signing them,, or we would be in a world of hurt,,oh wait, WE ARE ANYWAY!
I am sure they are spinning like tops in their graves seeing how The Bill of Rights and Constitution are being wrung out and hung up to dry...
I am not going to get myself started... I have no more BP medication left..
