17 weeks!

I've just completed the first 16 weeks of pregnancy #2. All is well health-wise, but I have been doing rather poorly with my healthy eating; morning sickness was rough this time around so all I wanted to eat was carbs, and once the morning sickness passed, all I wanted to eat was everything!

Thus, I'm knuckling down yet again, and I'm determined to track my intake regardless of how well I actually eat. I'm currently about 20 pounds heavier than I would like to be (post-pregnancy), but by doctor's orders I'm still supposed to gain over the next few months. I just want to keep a lid on it so I don't have *too* much to shed afterward. Obviously the health of the baby comes first.

In other news, we're returning to the Pacific Northwest! My husband got a dream job in Seattle and we're leaving our tiny rural town in less than two weeks. I've been happy here but I've missed the bustle of a liberal city. Between packing, cleaning, yardwork, and a currently sick toddler, the process is a little daunting. I've already donated close to 25 large boxes of stuff we no longer need and if I can convince my packrat hubby to part with more, I will. And we get to stay in some relatively swanky corporate apartments for six weeks after the initial move (while we do some house hunting), and I'm looking forward to that.
