Birthday week is almost done here: hubby on June 3, me on June 6, and daughter on June 8. Now we just have son-in-law on June 20. DD had to work on her birthday and I had the kids. I helped them each make and decorate a cake for mommy, the kind she wanted, and she took almost all of it home after a healthy meal at my house.

Hubby will be in hospital on son-in-law's birthday, but I'll probably still be able to fix DSIL a meal with cake. We'll see. It will not be an excuse to overeat.
I'm still a pound or so over my target weight range. I have committed to going back to tracking if I'm still over on June 12th, 2 weeks after I first knew I was over. And I will track if I need to. The birthdays made my attempt to get back without tracking a bit more difficult, but no excuses. I've lost at Christmas time; I can get it back any time. I even feel like carrying a few extra pounds is affecting my running speed, although I know cutting calories soon before a race can be counter-productive. Next race is June 28th. I'll be ready!!
