One Week at a time

I didn't post June goals this month and I don't plan to.

Instead I'm going to focus on one week at a time. It seems like each week something comes up and I am not able to do what I want to for the month. Last week I had a cold in the beginning of the week and then got stuck working late days at work and didn't do any sort of workout.

This week I'm making mini goals. They are for this week only and then next week I will either make new ones or try to continue with the ones from this week.

So my goals for this week are to go for a walk outside 3 times. Right now I'm thinking I'll go today after work by myself. Tomorrow I'll see if I can go straight to my parents house from work and take their dog (he used to be my dog until I had to give him up) for a walk. Then maybe one evening convince my fiance to walk with me.

Along with that I want to get back to strength training again. I had wanted to start a program from bodybuilding.com last week but didn't. I want to start that this week. I believe it calls for 4 days of strength training per week to start. I'm going to focus on just 3 days this week and then go from there.

The scale said I was 157.8 this morning. I would love to see some sort of drop by Saturday.

    I think mini-goals are a great idea! I think I may have to start doing it that way too, planning by the month doesn't give me much flexibility for life getting in the way of my goals! I hope your new strength training workout goes well!
