Even though I woke up to Thunderstorms and well we all know how hard it is to get moving on Monday mornings....having to take my son to football practice is an awesome way to get back into early morning workouts!
I drop him off at 4:45am....then head to the gym 3 minutes away. Get into gym and setup for Body Pump class... and spend the next hour asking my muscles to do more than they want to that early in the morning.
I have already got my workout in, came home to make a protein smoothie, and made me a egg for breakfast. Showered and got ready for work (lol don't want to forget that step, huh?) and now sitting here relaxing before heading to work.
I got all of this accomplished because of football, the clock went off and if didn't HAVE to get up I more than likely wouldn't have, but now that I did I am so thankful! I need to remember this feeling on mornings he doesn't have football and try to keep it up.
