Its Friday evening & I just...

Saturday, June 07, 2014

finished eating after coming in from my exercise. May I just thank the wind & breeze for blowing tonight. Last night was more than rough without one!

Here's one for the "I don't think so" pile I was listening to Ozzy Osbourne "Crazy Train" and I clicked over to the Osborne's cd on Spotify and Pat Boone was singing a lounge version of "Crazy Train" it was so wrong lol!

So I need to get in just over 11,000 steps tomorrow to make 70K for this week! No worries there. Tomorrow is strength training and yoga along with the walking. Tonight I made over 12,500 steps and 92 minutes of walking.

I was looking through the DVD's earlier and it seems I have a few Antonio Banderas flicks, good deal. I don't have "The Other Man" but I'll grab it off Amazon with a few others when I decide to make an order over there. I need to grab a Japanese import of a CD since Spotify and Last FM do not play Ayumi Hamasaki. I have a few other foreign artists I am going to add to that order as well. I seem to read books in other languages as well. (Mainly Spanish, Russian and Italian so far.) Some books lose the vibe when its translated to English. I have a friend who teases me about listening to so much foreign music and he asked me what was I listening to the other night and I was listening to a Serbian artist Zdravko Colic and afterwards I switched to Polish so I could hear Kayah :)~

I was reading the Fitness Articles earlier and I found "How to Train for a 10K." This is 6.21 miles. The 5K I could walk in my sleep so that is way too easy. So I am going to follow this procedure and see how I get along with that. A fast pace is 70 minutes, moderate is 100 minutes and an easy pace is 125 minutes. Right now I'm pretty sure I could deal with the moderate ideal. After I get in one or two of these then I will go for a half marathon! The 10K is a better idea first and then moving onto the half marathon in the future!

So I have packed a bag for the trip and this weekend I'll experiment with the pack and see if it is easily dealt with, if not changes will be made. I am going to Sephora Thursday since they have one where I do my hair and see what wipes and easily dealt with toiletry items I can bring for a few days until I get to Italy. There I will purchase some real makeup :) I've used Italian makeup before and I do well with it on my skin. I actually don't mind makeup. I don't wear much here except when I have a meeting or when Paolo and I go out. In the summer it doesn't stay put so well even with primer and the like since its so dang hot. Paolo actually prefers the natural look thankfully not that it would influence my decision but it doesn't hurt anything he likes a pale woman lol.

Okay, I need to hit the showers now and get down to business for the night. Happy Weekend ya'll. I just spoke to my friend in New Orleans and she speaks Southern so its what I heard for a half hour. I may head down there for 4 days for a meeting in September, mid week hopefully because I get cranky when I miss my football.

I think listening or reading other languages means that you don't have a communication problem. you friend sounds rigid about his views on this. have a great vacation, take good walking shoes. eva

Best wishes and enjoy your trip!
The planning and anticipation of a journey is incredibly exciting. Following it is the journey which is fun and passes much too quickly. Be sure to take lots of photos to help you remember all the great times and adventures after you return home.

Hiya looks like you are getting yourself ready for your vacation. I bet you can not wait.

I am pale too but with lots of freckles...strange thing is there are parts of me that can go quiet dark...I think that is from my Papa who was the typical dark tanned man.
I too do not wear make up some mascara when I can remember.

Oooh I am excited for you. Buon viaggio

Look up: The Race to Robie Creek. I walked it! Too bad I had horrible companionship during it. I plan to do it again and this time solo.

I hope you get in your 11000 steps today! You have some great goals, Kayah! Good luck with them all.
I listen to a lot of international artists as well, especially fond of Japanese and Central Americans! emoticon
