PTL they did catch that Moncton Maniac...one RCMP officer is still in hospital, the guy just gave up. Poor family members and I think the people of Moncton will now feel so violated and have lost a real sense of safety. The power that one man had!
Had a lazy day, watching tv, saw an amazing movie on APTN, called BlackStone, about the political side and the real side of what goes on on First Nations Reserves, ie. gas sniffing, and suicide and rape. Having lived on a Reserve, it really felt real!! I feel I learned more from that 1 hr. show than all of the Race Relations Course I am taking right now. It was on PVR, so I couldn't get a copy to bring to the prof for a reality check.
It rained this am and when it stopped early afternoon, Buddy and I went for our walk. We did get to the same spot and then added another 30 feet .... felt very good... but last short block home I was really hauling butt, and I needed a longer recovery time today.
Knitting on a baby blanket. Read some of the prof's book he is publishing next year on Viola Desmond, Canada's Rosa Parks.... I offered to error check.....where is my red pen?
Talked with my walking friend and we are planning to go to the dam next week. I think I will be up for an least one lap, maybe 2 by then!!! it's only 2.6 km for 2 laps. My new car doesn't click off 1/10 km, so I don't really know how far I am walking.
