I'm So Ashamed

I fell off the wagon this morning and I'm so beating myself up right now. Instead of taking my little breakfast bar from home and eating it for breakfast, I stopped at McDonalds and grabbed two breakfast burritos because my stomach was growling and I just knew I was starving. I know mishaps happen but I CHOSE TO DO THIS!!! I can go walking and eat better this evening but I'm just furious with myself. I swore that I wouldn't do this to myself and I slipped up! I'm getting so frustrated and just want to give up but I KNOW I CAN'T!!!!!

  Get A Grip Girlfriend. You are human , you are going to have slips, we all do. It is not the end of the world. You pull yourself up and get back on the right track. Do Not Use this as an excuse to give up. You are going to do this, believe in yourself. No more put downs on yourself. Positive thinking!! Keep pushing, working hard to do what you know you must.     Life happens. Just get back on track for the next meal, drink plenty of water to flush out the sodium and go from there. You have not failed - this journey is not all or nothing. It's making good choices 80-90% of the time.

Maybe your breakfast bar isn't satisfying enough? I used to rely on meal bars a lot for breakfast, and they stopped being enough after awhile (I think mostly because of the sugar). I do, for the most part, baked oatmeal (made with lots of egg whites for protein) and fruit or Greek yogurt, high protein cereal and fruit for breakfast, and it sticks much better.
