stress fracture

I have tried not to hurt myself and wound up doing it anywys.

so bummed right now

Can do absolutely nothing for at least 2 weeks then maybe swimming and or biking for a few and no running for at least 4 weeks.

    Major bummer!! Been there, done that, it sucks. I used the time to do more upper body workouts, just to be doing something. Don't sink into the lake.

    I'll say "that's a bummer!" My daughter joined track in HS this spring and in the first two weeks she had shin splints that wouldn't resolve. Ended up being a stress fracture. She is healing but was very disappointed. The orthopedist recommended water jogging and biking for her. Wish we had access. Hope you are fully healed in record time and back to doing the activities you enjoy.

    I am so sorry, do you think it happened during the marathon?

    Take it easy! I've started swimming a little just as an alternative and to create an active recovery on rest days. Check out water jogging, might offer an alternative....
