So as you all know if you've been following my previous blogs, this spring and summer has been full of weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties and reasons to celebrate.
And all of these have revolved around food.
And I have lived my life and celebrated, and laughed too hard, and read books when I could have been exercising.
And life has been grand.
Well this weekend, it's MY bachelorette party with my bridesmaids.
Yes, I know my wedding is in November.
But my Maid of Honor and best friend Grace, was chosen to do an internship in Disney World, and leaves August 1st and will not be back until my wedding in November.
So, we decided so that she could plan my bachelorette party that we would have it this summer. And since I have bridesmaids from South Bend, and Memphis respectively, this date seemed to work out.
So this weekend will be full of shenanigans and food and drink. But to start the morning, Grace and I are running a 5k. And then all of my bridesmaids and I are going to the driving range. So exercising even on my bachelorette party.
And I will partake fully with my best friends.
And Monday morning, I will be back and focused on my healthy lifestyle. And drinking TONS of water to battle the bloat, I'm sure. And will be back and focused without distractions until the next wedding we will be attending July 12. So a full month of focus and hopefully, if I'm lucky maybe an 8-10 pound weight loss.
