Over the past two weeks I've done no tracking of exercise or of food intake. I've gained 6+ pounds during this time. My goal now is to loose the weight and get back into exercise over the next few weeks. I go off of my eating and exercise plan every time I take a vacation. I've never had a problem in the past loosing the weight and getting back into my exercise program. We'll see how it goes this time. I ate slightly healthier on this vacation than on previous vacations but ate a lot of food. Since my wife was wearing a boot we didn't walk or get near the amount of exercise we normally get on our vacations.Our son is coming home for a few days later this week so we'll likely eat out more often than usual. I may have to work at this weight loss thing more than I have in the past.
Life is new every day.

    Sounds familiar -- same thing happen to me when we went to Jamaica in December. I bet in no time you'll be back to where you want to be.

    Easy - Peasy! as my DD would say. I normally accept a couple of lbs when we vacation, but we have chosen active vacations in the last couple of years. We chose to cook for ourselves whenever possible, but we do enjoy tasting local foods. You have to forgive yourself, enjoy the memories, and get right back into your healthy habits. Hope DW is feeling better.


    What was your favorite part of San Francisco? Did you visit the Chinatown?
