So I've been back to running for four months after an eighteen month hiatus, which left me thirty pounds heavier and unhappy with myself.
I tracked my May mileage thinking it would help me visualize the progress I've made. So... I logged 89 miles in May, which left me feeling elated. Running reduces my stress and proves to ME what I can overcome.
Well, the one thing I cannot overcome is the damage of my fork or martini glass
Although I am down about three pounds this month if you factor in the calories burned from running, about 10,000 I would be doing amazing if I cut back on the calories. So I'm dedicating June to focusing on my diet and drinking a glass of water between cocktails!
