I've now lost 62 pounds and I'm in the 180s! So very exciting. But, more exciting than that, I'm only ten pounds away from being HALFWAY done with my weight loss. So, hopefully in about another month I'll be there. Being halfway done will really be a big accomplishment for me, a lot of hard work out of the way. It will feel like all downhill from there even though I will be doing just as much work because I will be in such smaller numbers. Already I feel like so much of the job is over because I am back in the 100s again and no longer have to say I weigh TWO HUNDRED and so much. I feel like I should do something to celebrate when I reach the halfway mark, do a little something nice for myself. Maybe I'll do a little spree on Fabletics!
So, this morning it's coffee and then a lot of chores. I have a lot I want to get done today, most specifically in the area of workouts. If my son is occupied with playing, I will be able to get a walk in, but I also want to get in some good yoga and get going on kickboxing again and some strength training. And maybe even a little bit on the elliptical. I have a lot of energy today that I want to use and I want to get myself back in the habit of doing all these things because once I'm in the habit then I really enjoy them and don't want to miss them. It's just getting back in the habit that's the trick.
A big motivator for me this month, getting me to lose those pounds, is that I joined a Biggest Loser Challenge/Dietbet Challenge where I put in $16 and so did everyone else and we spend the month trying to lose weight (I have to get down to 183) and if we lose 4% of our body weight then we win the money in the pot. So, it's going to be a pretty strenuous month, working hard to get down to 183 before the month is up. But, I think I can do it!
