This is the last day of the 5% challenge. Tomorrow will be the final weigh-in. I don't expect any surprises. I've been stuck so long but am happy not to have gained with all that has been going on for me since the start of my semester at the Bible school.
The "Living the Good Life" part of the challenge this past week has been to blog every day. I missed one day, but am glad that I was able to check in on the other days. It's helped me to stay connected with the Spark community and, as we're often told around here, that's an important factor in our weight loss success.
With that in mind, let me put in a good word for the Firecracker team on the 5% Challenge that's coming up in the summer. It looks like the break between rounds is going to be short this time, and I'm glad of that! It has been a rough 8 weeks for a lot of the members and leaders but I've been impressed by their perseverance.
The first step, if you're interested, is to go here, and join the Challenge Team. If you're new to the 5%, you'll be given a chance to sign up for a specific team soon. Current 5%-ers can sign up for their preferred team till tomorrow.
And, for me and you, some roses from my friend Susan's garden, cut for us after a nice long pole-walk yesterday:
