Maintenance is an ongoing challenge. I look in the mirror every day and tell myself that maintaining keeps me healthy and drifting is not an option. The last few times I got to goal weight I managed to maintain for a while but I realize that I need ongoing support to keep it off not just to lose.
I post in SP every day. Sometimes it is just a line to say hello. Most days I post in the Maintenance team about how my food choices and exercise are going for the day. I may not have time to read and respond to the other posts but this is to help me focus on my choices for the day or review the day before.
It helps being a Team Leader and doing specific tasks like sending goodies to new members. It reminds me how hesitant I was when I started SP.
Being connected through blogs also helps by reading the good, the not so good and finding inspiration. When I start to pick up a croissant at the coffee place, I remember that I will post it in a team thread and it often helps to resist. Posting also helps remind me that just because I made one less healthy choice tomorrow is new post.
