Training update........keepin
g me accountable

I believe that with a life style change you need to be accountable to yourself. I want to do this with my training plans for this 6 week body makeover as well. Sunday as I was out on my morning run I could tell that my legs were sore. I have been putting in some real good leg workouts with the machines at the gym. The leg press machine I am up to pressing 100 lbs. The leg extension machine I can do 115 lbs. I really worked my legs hard on Saturday so it showed on Sunday morning. This morning my run was intense as I pushed myself real hard. An hour later I hit the gym for a full body workout with weights. I spent an hour and 45 minutes. I was tired when I got done....a good tired. I do know that's it's also about eating right too. I use the Lose It app to log my meals and workouts. I can log them in anywhere with my media player and I like that. I have been increasing my protein intake to reflect my weight lifting. I have been lowering my carbs some and throwing in a refeed carb day. I have been sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of liquids. I am continuing to eat lots of veggies and watch my fruit intake(due to my hypoglycemia). I am so liking where this is taking me. My future goals for this are to change up my workouts more. I do weight lifting at home Thursday's and Saturday's for an hour before I head off to weight lifting class. I also have class on Mondays too. I hit the weight machines for my legs 2 to 3 times a week. I do cardio(walking or running) 4 or 5 days a week. I also do a core 1/2 hour class twice a week. I like the fact that all of my classes are back to back. I do one then the other happens right after. It's a nice way to get it done and out of the way. So this is my post for now. Once in a while I will post again as it's my way of being accountable and also to see how well I am doing.
