How am I feeling about my progress?

How am I feeling about my progress? Jazzed!!!

With 1 week remaining in May, I decided to take a look at the report - Calorie Differential Over Time to see what my monthly averages have been since the beginning of the year.

Here's what I learned...

Month / BMR / In / Out / Loss / ADCD
Jan / 1806 / 1606 / 396 / 5.2 / 596
Feb / 1761 / 1456 / 359 / 8.6 / 664
Mar / 1712 / 1536 / 485 / 9.4 / 661
Apr / 1685 / 1516 / 362 / 5.2 / 531
May / 1651 / 1473 / 326 / 5.2 / 504

These numbers represent my average BMR for the month, average daily caloric intake and expenditure, pounds lost each month and average daily calorie differential.

I calculated my ADCD (Average Daily Calorie Differential) as follows: BMR + Out - In. My May numbers will change when the numbers for this week are added.

The information I am gathering from routine use of my nutrition and fitness trackers along with the reports helps support my journey and inform my choices.

As I approach my goal of 144 lbs and my thoughts begin drifting toward establishing a realistic and attainable weight goal, I know the tools that have supported my journey thus far can be used to not only attain and maintain my weight goal, but to continue improving my health and fitness.

I have found team participation to be instrumental. Lots of collective wisdom and support shared here at SparkPeople.
