I couldn't find a photo of a naked person streaking, so this will have to do! lol
But, that wasn't the kind of streaking I was referring to anyway. Read on......

Streaking is when you make up your mind to do some certain 'healthy' thing or to cut out some 'unhealthy' food. Actually it could apply to just about anything in your life, from doing cleaning in your home every day..... to cleaning your face and brushing your teeth every night.

Streaking is when, after you have decided to do (or abstain) some activity, or to eat or not eat some certain food -- or even one of those other things you want to make part of your daily activity. AND YOU DO IT EVERY DAY! And every day that you are successful at doing (or not doing) this certain thing, that's another day of your streak.

Streaking can be lots of fun, kind of a contest with yourself. For example, SP tells me that I went 150 days in a row checking into this website. And.....I'm still going. Who knows how many days a person can build up. And just because you might not have access to a computer every single day, doesn't mean you can't continue with the streak. So think about it ---- what would you like to make into a streak?

I have decided that I will walk 1 mile each and every day (or exercise for 20 min.) and I will not eat any candy. So I've got two streaks going. Today was emoticon !
So think and when that emoticon goes off in your head, and you come up with an activity or food idea that applies to YOU, go to it.

And, if you are so kind as to read this blog -- tell me what YOU are going to do for your streak. I'm interested, so tell me how you decided on it.

    I have a lot of Streaks I want to do I need to write them down and check them off then maybe it will be a habit soon - good luck on your streaks

    Using my fitbit to daily log my walking on here, and my sleeping. I am working at logging my food here - trying for daily - so far about 3-4 days per week, great improvement over doing nothing. I am on a small streak of logging in. Also working on improving my sleep.

    My streak is to walk at least 7,500 steps a day, but that's rather difficult at the moment because I've lost my step counter. I'm waiting for a new one. In the meantime I can estimate fairly accurately because I know how many steps I can walk in 20 minutes to the post office, or round the field walking Daisy. emoticon

    Lol! Now, I know that's not Amber, but hey......quite a cutsie little doggie!! hehe
I was steaking on the logging in and spinning, but somewhere along the way, I missed a day so my streak is starting over......again!
I've been doing a whole lot of nothing of late, though I have had the last few days of working outside!! Getting lots done if I start early enough! Today I've gotten little starts done here and there, but no completions! So I'm starting a 10 minutes a day of some kind of exercise! I had been doing that but somehow, just stopped.! Don't know why. Stuff happens, I guess! (or doesnt' as the case may be.)
My doggie is getting hungry, too....I feed him at 4:45 so he only has 5 minutes yet to wait. And I have to make him wait. His dinner time was 5:00, but one day I decided to feed him early and now he has a earlier dinner time! Can't go earlier for sure! hehe

    Darling dog!
I have a limited streak going on. I am doing low carb until September. That helps to keep me away from breads, cakes, cookies and candy. It was a real challenge last weekend when we went to a wedding and they served chocolate cake with gobs of chocolate buttercream frosting! It looked so darn good!
I want to lose weight more than I want to eat the cake and candy that seems to be all around me. My goal is 130 by Sept. Currently I am at 135 1/2 which is a half pound down from when I last recorded my weight. Next weigh in is May 28 if I remember. It should be June 1, but we will be on vacation and away from our scale.
My streak ends in September or when I reach 130 whichever comes first. I have a hard time losing weight as I am just almost 5 feet tall and I don't need very many calories to keep myself going.
