Declaring my Intent for the Day

Yikes not one but two parties I'll be attending today.

I have set my intention.
Only one drink - grad party
Water or herbal tea for the b-day party
Be mindful of food choices. Both parties. My eyes shall not rule my food selections.
Be active - circulate..don't sit too much.

Parties are for celebrating people... not food.

    Excellent planning to which I'd only add -- don't go hungry (high protein snack 200 calories before party one, before party two). And I never want to waste calories on anything that is "ordinary" so I survey the offerings and bypass what is available anywhere for the item that is unique to the occasion . . .

    Carrying a handbag occupies one hand; that glass of club soda with lime, the other . . . no hands left to pick up food??? Tricky enough to juggle to shake hands, right??
