What a day!

Saturday, May 17, 2014

It started as a good day meaning I am doing better according to my scans still have work to do but it is getting better a little at a time with my chiropractor. However my leg has been bothering me for the past month so I called my primary and was planning on leaving a message but instead of that happening the receptionist looked for a nurse for me to talk to. That nurse is the reason I am writing this. She told me I might have a blood clot. So we ended up calling a bunch of people to see if they could take me to the er which they couldn't. So we called 911 and I waited for the ambulance to come get me to take me to the local hospital. They ran labs and an ultrasound on my leg to determine the problem and to see if it was what the doctor said it was. Came back negative for a blood clot. I have acute myofascial strain right now in my leg.

    Phoenix,

Praise the Lord, you didn't have a blood clot. I went through that scare when I was recovering from a car wreck and it's not a pleasant feeling, waiting to find out what's going on. Take some time and let that leg heal properly. Do exactly what the doctor tells you, so you can have the best chance of recovery. emoticon

Be blessed,

I am glad they figured out what it is, not a blood clot! Still pain, but hopefully quick recovery.

So thankful it wasn't a blood clot. Sure this isn't of less concern but a blood clot could have been life threatening.
