So this is one of the good news, bad news kind of days and me being just who I am being always want the bad news first. I like to do it that way because then it is like ripping a bandaid off it will only sting for a few moments, but then the pain is gone... Plus I think to end with good news just leaves you happier and more upbeat then ending with the bad news. I mean if you told little Johnny that he was going to Disneyland and then told him scruffy the dog died he would focus on the bad where as if you told him about scruffy and then Disneyland hey may still be sad about scruffy, but now he has something to look forward to :D. So now the BAD NEWS :(...I set a goal that I will hit the gym at least 2 times per week, last week the goal was met this week however I only made it their once. Now the GOOD NEWS :D.... Just after three sessions of working out I am already feeling like I am not a lump on a log that is completely out of shape. I felt so out of shape that by the time I'm done walking up a small amount of stairs I need to turn around so I can pick up my lungs and my body from the midway point. Now the same set of stairs doesn't kick my butt anymore. I can run up those stairs back down and back up those stairs and not even get winded. Last night while I was on the stair stepper elliptical machine I felt like I was just on a nice brisk walk instead of like I was running a marathon that I was only 1 minute into and begging for it to be over or for someone to put me out of my misery... I even hit 3 miles and 365 calories burned :D ... This was all after working a 14.5 hour day and the last 6.5 hours was pure hustle and bustle... I was joking with my residents stating that I had to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure my trainee was still with me :D. So at the end of the day I may not have made my gym goal but I definitely had quite the week of hustle and bustle to make up for it.

So just remember if you can't make it to your workout then bring your workout to you. All it takes is a little heart and a bit of that cowgirl spirit and you can find success in anything you do. So remember Cowgirl-UP and keep pushing onward it will only get easier as you go :D
