No doubt about it -- most of us tend to be on the lazy side. We have good intentions, like this kitty who was going to do some exercises; but we fall asleep on the job!
Looking at this picture made me laugh ~~ but then I got to thinking......(one of those brilliant thought moments) "I" could use my weights while I'm laying on my bed, propped up with pillows, watching TV. So I got out my 5# weight and started doing exercises with my arms. As muscles need to rest, I will do them every other night. Now show me an "older" woman who doesn't need help with her arms!
Purposely get up from that computer every 30 minutes and go DO SOMETHING at the other end of your house! I don't care if it is putting a load of laundry into the washer, or going potty (use the one furthest away) or going in to make the bed. DO something! Then walk through your house to see if there is some little thing that needs to be picked up or cleaned. Gotcha!
The whole purpose of this little scheme is to add steps to your daily routine. You'd be surprised how it can add up. Yesterday I tried it and had 3000 steps in before noon!
