"Wait. Oh sh^t. I’m in charge?"
This was what struck me as a read www.mindbodyenergyhealin
Ah yes, I'm in the driver's seat. I control my actions or inaction. Even when faced with challenges I can chose to push forward to the best of my ability or throw in the towel.
Went for an eye exam and was truly disappointed in the way the office was run and in the (to me) less than through examination by the doctor. Granted she may be skilled, but to me I felt that I was in a factory being processed. She wasn't like this when I first went to her, but changes do happen. Should I stay with the status quo? Heck no! I will do what is best for me. I'm in charge and need to find a new doctor.
So who buys the food? Uh, I do!
I have been making much better choices, but I need to be stronger. Like I have been in avoiding the cupcake truck. (don't ask)
So who picks the exercise? Me!
I have been pretty good about modifying, but need to find more options for when I am not feeling well. Do what I can when I can because it helps me feel better and reduces stress.
So who sets your routine? Ummm, I do!
Even the lack of a routine is a routine. Say what? No doing anything is a routine, it is a habit.
Routine - noun- a sequence of actions regularly followed; a fixed program.
synonyms: procedure, practice, pattern, drill, regimen; program, schedule, plan;
formula, method, system; custom
Since I'm in charge I get to set my routine.
