I made it out for my walk, 3.7 miles. I went out at 9:22 am and my phone said it was 84 degrees. When I was within 1.5 miles of finishing my walk, I heard on the radio that it was already 95 degrees. It is supposed to be 102 by lunch time. emoticon I couldn't try to walk in that kind of heat. I won't be walking this evening. We have to go to another church for their Pastor's anniversary.

It was over 100 here today. I am working on changing my I cants it I cans. Today, I did my walking in the grocery store in their air conditioning. I just look like I'm in a hurry or looking for something. Hope they don't catch on or think I'm crazy but it beats not walking. Came home with a bottle of low sodium soy sauce that I wanted to try.

Thanks for your comments Ladies! Lizzie, I will. Keep walking in the shade. It helps a lot. Mrshoneycomb, it was over 90 degrees at some of the beaches today. But I'm a good 40 minutes from the closet beach.

This heat is CRAZY. Some of the team met up last night and we stayed real close to the park where there is lots of trees and shade. The heat really zaps your energy. Stay hydrated during your journey.
